Welcome to my world. God had a sense of humor when he put me together. I am gregarious and love family/friend time, and when I'm done, I literally run away to spend time with a good book or just alone (extreme introvert). I spend a lot of time in my head, so to balance that, most of my friends are extremely physical (I used to say my idea of physical was jumping to conclusions). I'm also rather on the serious side, and my humor and whit are sharp and well placed. I've lived in many areas of the country and worked in a number of industries -- I find "cultures" fascinating. I am an activist when it comes to the local food/cottage industry, working on a number of projects that are related.
Right now I'm in the process of crafting my life to include the best of what I've enjoyed and leaving the rest behind. It's an adventure for certain. Water is big in my life, grew up on LI Sound and lived in Hawaii for 14 years. Living in CO, I find I'm always looking for that place to swim/tube/soak. I am involved in a number of businesses, so my schedule is not 9 to 5. One of my favorite quotes is from Oscar Wilde -- I can resist anything except temptation. I'm not big on crowds, preferring smaller outdoor venues for concerts and things. One on one is my best way of knowing and enjoying people. If there is nothing else around to read, a cereal box will do. I am a voracious reader. Science and technology are high on my list of entertainment, as well a great food and classic rock or opera depending on my mood.
