Unlike many other posters... I love to talk about myself... it is my favourite subject
I am very tall at 7 feet tall, it's true, but that is not what defines me. I am an articulate, well-educated thoughtful man... fortunately not that much of the time. I love to play; be it out in our fine city, inside my modest home or on the golf course.
I enjoy a good story; told by an interesting person (I always seek out the oldest people at a party, just to listen to what has gotten them to the designation as the oldest person at the party... not too long before that person may be me!!! And I can hardly wait!!!), portrayed in writing, on stage, or in a theatre, or, by a wonderful strong woman in whom I am interested.
I am equal parts jock (ex-Olympian), computer nerd, and committed - though talent-starved - creator. Brimming with faults and short-comings, I enjoy the work in progress I aspire to be. I am proud of what I have accomplished, completely happy with where I am, and confident in how the rest of my life will play out.
I ride an old Magna 1100... like me... it is not so much effected by our age, but by the mileage we have racked up...
I have an amazing little (Well... not so little) knock off of myself running around 50% of the time. Not a full-time father, but a half-time dad and a half-time mom all adds up in the end.
Nothing, but positive in this camp... if you fly the same flag, maybe we can take on the world as allies.
