Me describiría a mi mismo como
I have a few different hobbies...most recently I have started learning to ride a motorcycle, and purchased my first bike last April. I like to travel, New Orleans and Florida are a couple of my favorite places to visit. I usually make a trip to Seattle (where I am originally from) once a year to visit friends and family.
I also enjoy photography, and have had a small photography business over the last 13 years or so. In Seattle, I was self-employed full-time. Since moving to Austin I have had what my mom calls a "real job" or in other words, a job with a boss! Over the summer I was forced to make a career change, so I am looking for my next "real job..."
I have worked with animals, mostly dogs, but also a variety of other animals from guinea pigs to buffalos. I have worked in a few different capacities with animals, most of which is probably a story for another day. I am a trained disaster responder, and worked with Best Friends Animal Society in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.
I like watching the Longhorns play football, but my favorite team is the New Orleans Saints...
I'd like to meet someone who likes to be outdoors... I like going out for a margarita on a nice day, but don't need to be around the bar scene all the time. It'd also be nice to meet someone close to my age, that is honest, and doesn't sit home on the couch all the time. (I know, seems like it should be simple...but........)
