I like spending time with those that are special to me. I enjoy time with the family, traveling, especially to new places, and the holidays, Christmas is my favorite. I enjoy most outdoor activities like camping, skiing, scuba diving, riding motorcycles, sitting by a bonfire with marshmallows or a beverage, soaking in a hot tub with a glass of wine or a beer. I like snuggling with someone special on the couch watching a movie, or anything will include that special person in my life.I like taking trips, whether it’s an overnight trip or a 7-day cruise. The Smokeys are my favorite place any time of year. I can be stubborn but am working on that. I like to cook and or course you can’t just let it go to waste ;-). I am trying to maintain recent weight loss but still love home cooked food. I’m healthier now, so it’s a good thing. I’ve changed a lot of my life’s goals recently but can’t really say they are completely decided upon until I include the goals of the one who will share them. Let’s just say they are in pencil, not carved in stone. I am cautious to fall in love, but love deeply and faithfully when I do. Feel free to write if you have questions?

My soul mate and best friend, I’m looking for that special person to share life with. With our lives blended together, someone that I can share life’s adventures with, both good and bad. Not that “perfect” match but someone willing to meet me in the middle. Someone, who is willing to discuss the differences in our lives and personalities, and willing to work with me on a solution. Someone I can cuddle on the couch with, sit on the deck and watch the stars, build a bon-fire or soak in the hot tub with a beverage. Someone who is as comfortable in a tent by the fire, as they are in a five star hotel.

Someone who will sit close to me on the bike as we ride down a country road, stopping to watch the sunset from the bluff. A person that wants to ride and share the freedom of going wherever the road takes us. Maybe it’s the country store for a bologna sammich or a rally brimming with bikers from all over. Can you teach an old doggie to ride the real thing.

We should be able to slow dance as though we are one. The only ones on the dance floor in our minds. Or maybe we’re just at home dancing to our favorite slow song, with the candles burning and wine chilled. Someone who will hand me a wrench as I work on the mower or let me help in the kitchen as we cook breakfast. Can you smell the coffee?

Someone who enjoys the simple things in life and understands it has a deeper meaning than just what is visible. A partner who is willing to gently pull on the reins when I need to slow down to smell the roses. Who has a kind nature and cares for others. Someone willing to accept my flaws as I accept theirs. Someone willing to ride the rough seas to get to the calm waters where there is peace and life filled with joy and love.
