I wake up every morning with gratitude for another incredible day--no matter what the weather outside, what's going on in the economy, or what my day was like the day before. I believe happiness is a choice so I choose to be grateful no matter what the circumstances. Don't get me wrong, I have my ups and downs just like the next person, but I prefer to focus on the positive and know that problems are just part of life’s journey, and failures, when we learn from them, are actually stepping stones to our success.
I am extremely loving and passionate. I live life to the fullest, and enjoy the simplest pleasures that life has to offer. I enjoy the company of family and friends. I have a great sense of humor! I enjoy outdoor activities, atv’s , snowmobiles, motorcycles as well as going to the movies, concerts, working out, sporting events, dance clubs and most of all the beach. But I also like staying home, relaxing, cooking, snuggling on the coach and watching movies. I enjoy weekend getaways, local or not!
I love being a father of my two children which I have 50-50 custody of. I own my own business and I am very passionate of what I do.(God laid that in my lap and very thankful for that) .I am financially stable, confident but not arrogant , and take care of my body by eating right and working out.
I am looking for that special woman to share my life with. Someone who is genuine, honest, caring and of course she has to make me laugh. She has to enjoy spending time with family, friends, going out as well as staying in and entertaining at home. A partner who is driven and ambition, but also understands the importance of a balanced life. She must be financially stable, in shape and be divorce. I would love it if she was easy going, spontaneous, and yet be responsible. It's simple--I'm looking for intimacy and companionship with my puzzle piece, the woman who fits me better than anyone else, so we can partner together to pursue our passions and dreams, overcome challenges, encourage one another on a daily basis and be best friends and soul mates for life!
Everything in life is exactly what you make it ... and a relationship is no different .I strive to make it fun, enjoyable, and memorable, it’s about giving 100% not 50%! One thought that kept running through my head was of a couple I took care of years ago, "Ed and Edna" (not kidding). They were 90 &; 88 years old respectively and Edna had severe Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and could barely speak. Every day, without fail, Ed would get out a small basin, add some warm water and splash the water on his wife’s feet despite his debilitating osteoporosis. That was his daily gesture of love and the reason he took pride in the task was because he knew she loved it so much. That’s it. Just because she liked it. Then afterwards, they would take some time to just sit at the kitchen table and hold hands before they would lay down for their afternoon nap. No words needed to be spoken because even I could feel the love transferring between them. I realized then that I’m a true romantic, hooked on the ‘lets grow old together’ story (cue The Notebook or that couple in Titanic that instead of choosing to try and escape decide to succumb to their fate and just holding each other in bed). At the end of the day, what I want is someone to care for me implicitly. Not because I need them to, but because they want to.
To me that is what love is about.
Please tell me it’s out there, someone must feel the same way I do.
