Have you ever reached that place in your life when you are tired of being strong, independent and stubborn? I am so there. I have functioned as "me" for too long and I want an "us". I want to find someone who can scale my walls of safety and show me what love really means .I would love to be spoiled on occasion, but I don't need constant reassurance to feel confident. HONESTY and INTEGRITY are a must and LOYALTY, a no brainer. You Lie or Cheat and you lose! Respect the one you love and they will respect you. Two things that I hold true: 'Do Unto Others' and 'What Goes Around Comes Around'. Back up your words with actions and be accountable for them. To me a person's worth can truly be measured by the lives they have touched and the friends that they keep. I don't appreciate phony people and people who think they are better than anyone because of the job they hold, the money they make or the 'toys and things' they possess..... those things can change, a person's heart and soul can't. Be true and real.
I have simple wants needs. I prefer a sporting event to an opera. (I can throw a perfect spiral!) I love simplicity. I would be perfectly happy on a beach for hrs with a beer and a box of Cheez-Its. I come from a large family, so loud crazy get togethers are something I love, and need! If you enjoy lively, crazy, loud (never boring) holiday dinners and gatherings and being a part of something usually big, loud and fun, you will fit right in. Shy, quiet, wall-blenders will not make it in my world. I have 2 amazing children that truly are my greatest accomplishment (and my biggest frustration!) :-)
The best gift I could get from someone is one that is well thought out, not just purchased. To me, a single stem of my favorite flower speaks volumes over a dozen long stemmed roses. You throw in a box of Hot Tamales and You Are In! Everyone has some kind of drama in their life, it's how you deal with it that makes you who you are.
And of course there is the kiss. First it is the slow lean in, it is soft, and you immediately feel it in ever part of you. It feels like forever and yet it ends too quickly. You can feel it on your lips for a long time after. And it makes you touch your lips wanting to somehow capture it again.
