I have a special painting on my wall that has a picture of a glass of red
wine and a motorcyle. These are two of my loves. What's missing from this
picture is a woman, and every time I look at that painting I am reminded
that there has been a hole in my life for nearly 10 years that has prevented
me from feeling true happiness. Yes, that is how long it has taken me to get
over my last love.
I moved to Idaho from California 15 years ago so I could help my daughter
achieve her dream of living the life of a farm-girl. We built a home on 6
acres and are raising chickens, sheep and honey bees. We love our animals
including our 2 dogs, a Border Collie and a Keeshond. We have planted 60
trees including a fruit-orchard and are also raising every kind of vegetable.
I live in my own dwelling on this property and I enjoy the pasttimes of
gardening, taking long trips on the Harley into the most beautiful places in
the U.S., spending time with the grandkids, having wine-tasting dinners with
friends, and reading great books.
My friends tell me that I am very young for my age, and I must agree with them
because I don't feel a day older than 30. I am still an active software
developer and have customers all over the world. I travel to Europe at least
once a year to speak at software conferences.
Well, enough about me. I want to know about you. My favorite painting also
has the following inscription: "Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away". I am looking for a woman who will not only take my breath away but one who will also be a loving companion.
I want a woman who is still experimenting with the process of living, who has
