’49 model available…needs younger driver
Carburetor was abused by previous 25 year owner before she abandoned it, but a little TLC would have it running strong again.
Previously used in law enforcement before it was retired.
The convertible top has deteriorated some, but is mostly intact. The radio buttons are stuck on country and bluegrass music stations.
It does smoke, but only runs on regular coffee and ice tea. It will not run on alcohol and the like.
It falters when it passes things such as yard sales, antique shops or other interesting places, but it runs great on trips, especially in the mountains, and is extremely reliable. The back seat will hold small animals, children, and other such varmints.
It only has room for one driver, ‘cause the seat won’t adjust for multiple operators. It needs a small or medium size driver that is looking for something that will be good for the long haul.
This model has its own garage and maintenance program, so it doesn’t require yours.
If you are tired of being left on the side of the road by unreliable newer models, take this one for a test drive and see if the gears mesh.
