I recently moved to San Antonio for my job, and completely love this city so far. I have been starting to explore it, but would love to have come company. I am a divorced mom whose kids have left except 1, and that gives me lots of time for myself. I realize I miss having someone to do things with.. sitting watching a movie, going out and trying new restaurants, making new friends together, dancing, BBQ's with friends and family, NASCAR, exploring the countryside, weekends at the beach. Also.. if I can take the time and effort to post a picture.. then so can you.. I WILL NOT RESPOND TO A NO PICTURE REQUEST or IM.. that's just common curtesy.
In a man, I notice certain things right off the bat.. his eyes immediately.. They portray so much of who he is.. How he carries himself, is he neat, how does he greet me, does he take care of himself.. After the initial awkwardness of that first meeting.. then I start to see the qualities I look for and want.. How easy can we talk about things, does he hold the door, do we have things in common (like foods, music, interests, sports), how does he get along with his family, how does he spend his free time.. This is really important, because if two people have lots in common, it makes for a great foundation to see what comes out of dating.... also is he open and honest.. can he relay his thoughts and feelings fairly easily,how does he get along with my kids (that's a no brainer)
I am looking to meet someone to hang out with, and if there is chemistry there, then run with it and see what happens.. I would eventually like to be in a commited relationship, but when the time is right for us. Connecting with someone who is extremely compatible with you is such a rare thing, and I would like a guy who can recognize that. One special guy that, if things started progressing toward something closer and more commited, isn't going to come up with excuses as to why he needs to run or disappear, but embrace the idea that having someone special in your life to share the ups and downs with is a true gift. Finding a person who can make your pulse speed up and hands get sweaty knowing you are about to see them.. or when you think of them during the day, you automatically smile and wonder about *how long more before I can call or see him/her* is a rare thing, and if either one lets it go, you may never be able to get it back again. Someone you can't wait to tell about the awesome things that happened to you, or knowing that if things went poorly, that person is going to be there to hold you, or comfort you.. not even just by words, but by just being there with you. That's what I want and would like to be able to give..
I don't need someone to make me complete though.. I am already that.. what I'd like is to find someone to compliment me and whom I can compliment as well.. someone who can bring out the best qualities each other has.. Someone who can see me when I am in a rugged old t-shirt and still say *d*mn, she's awesome* and I can do the same for or when all dressed up, can say *I am so lucky that I am with you*.
To share all lifes hopes, fears and dreams and accomplishments with one special person is something only the strongest couples know. To know that honest,open communication is important as well. Smiling in the middle of the day, when at work, because all of a sudden, you thought about me or I thought about you.. To text each other little messages just to say *hi*. Waiting to see each other, thinking.. *I can't wait to see him/her and smell that scent in his/her hair, and to feel your arms close around that person and get that kiss you've been thinking about all day, knowing that it'll help you put the day inperspective. To know, that this person may be, the ONE person, God has dropped into your lap to enjoy life with.
