I Would Describe Myself As

Okay - apparently some people think I'm a little harsh or mad or whatever with my description, but rather than write a novel, it's easier to write a brief synopsis and see if that catches your attention. There is so much more to me than what I can write here. So - anyway - here goes. As most everybody says first, I am thankful every day that God (or whatever higher being you prefer) has blessed me with my children, a good job, good health, etc. etc. I don't lie and I don't like liars. I don't like snobs or anybody who thinks they are better than anybody else. I love to help out when I can. I don't like to see anybody taken advantage of and will speak up for them. I love to listen to music more than watch TV, and I am a huge bibliophile. Text shorthand like "ur" makes me cringe. Favorite books: Memory, Thorn and Sorrow by Tad Williams and The Stand by Stephen King. Most played song on MP3 right now: anything by Seether. Favorite 3 movies: Trading Places, Big Trouble in Little China and number three could be any given movie at any given time - it tends to change. I make it quite nicely on my own, but I would like someone I can hang out with, have some fun with, be myself and let loose once in a while. I guess more accurately, I want a best friend that turns into my lover and partner. I don't want to be alone the rest of my life, who does, but I'm certainly not desperate and will not fall into a relationship just to be in a relationship. I have more respect for myself than that. I deserve to have somebody treat me the same way I treat those that I love. The man that wins my heart would have everything he ever wanted spiritually, emotionally and physically. I don't know how to not put my whole heart into a relationship. I have my life pretty much together and I expect the same of my partner. I am looking for an equal - not a controller. And if you are a player - just go on to the next profile. I don't have time for games. Okay - there is so much more to me, but that's plenty enough for now.
