Ich würde mich selbst beschreiben als

Man of insights, nature loving, deepest friendship, I love people and communicating, yet I am not a person very much extended socially, unless I am with the right person. I am a Christian, strong believer but attachment to a church is not the main idea. Active and fit; I am looking for the right biking friend, for starters; getting to know one another and be good, be slow, learning and sharing. I like to read, many kinds of books; I used to watch TV (for example HBO In Treatment, but also Dexter, the Good Wife, etc.); on TV I also watched films (action, drama, comedy). I don't believe much in politics. Riding our beautiful landscapes is a great moment to share. Getting to share good moments, yes, but to understand and feel akin is more the thing. My goal is for friendship first, and shared values, including the bike, of course. Divorced; two adult daughters, one I see often (and her man, and their 2 year-old daughter). Let's talk, maybe on the internet (email) at first, and see what comes out of it.

Getting to know you, in a relaxed setting, either anonymous or your preference; discussion; sharing a meal; going for a ride on our big bikes, on small country roads, in natural surroundings and views, maybe all that in the same date, the onus being on being natural and in a sharing mood, appreciating our respective views on who we are to one another and see what goes, eyeing toward friendship, either just plain friendship, or toward an increase in shared values.

playing the saxophone - I used to play harp in a blues band, but let it slip; my pleasure is still somewhat with blues, but swing and cool jazz are more interesting today. Somehow, the howl of the bike wheels in 5th gear as the bike bends in turns is music also... reminiscent of the wail of the harp...

Shared values in conversation, being in tune with you, sharing broad, social, and personal values, as well as things akin with nature, mind and heart with someone, conversation, riding and the ability to revel as much in lighthearted matters as in deep-thought, spiritual contemplation and sharing. A jazz concert. A sunset on a bike, as well a pedal bike as a motor bike. Both are very comfortable bikes. Spending myself doing something physical each day: a hike, chopping wood, a walk in the woods; I also revel in contemplation, reflexion, meditation, reading, and, of course, sleeping enough to be at my best tomorrow, for myself and for others, or is it the other way around?
