My beliefs … I believe that kissing is a forgotten form of art. I believe in taking it slow this time around. I believe in Karma and happenstance, a grand scheme and serendipity, fate and free will, chance and contemplation. I have learned that I'm going to have to love and value myself. Never again will I let some make me feel less than, not enough, that I need to be and look like someone I'm not. I'm not perfect, I am well aware of that, but sometimes you find someone who will love you because of and not in spite of your imperfections. Every diamond has a flaw, but we still see the beauty in how it shines.
My personality…I am learning to love myself. It’s taken me many years but here is what I know…I have more good days than bad; I’m more crazy than sane (although in a non-stalkery sort of way); often funnier when sober but enjoy a good drink now and then; smarter than you can imagine but not strong on the common sense end; enjoy beer more than wine and rum above all; able to experience the highs of happiness and the deep pain of sorrow; passionately creative – love to sing, paint and pour out my soul in poetry but need to learn to share some of this with others; love hot cars, motorcycles and drag racing; will always surprise people that I was a tomboy growing up; can rope a calf, “whisper” a horse and put up a fence and yet still rock a short skirt; would rather make love than war, but will defend my loved ones to the death; wonderful mother, lover and friend; and last but not least I still believe in love, although I’m pretty sure it doesn’t come from reality shows. I’m learning to open my heart again. My life is wonderful and anyone I let in must impact it in a positive way because I have a choice in who stays and who goes. I have a strong network of family and friends who have always believed in me even when I doubted myself. As they say, life isn’t a destination, it’s a journey and it’s been a great ride so far. I have a lot of travel left in me, but if I leave this world tomorrow, I know I’ve made a positive impact on the world.
