About me: I’m basically a jeans and t-shirt, "girl-next-door" type. I'm short (5'2"), but I think I'm weight-height proportionate. I am not a self-promoter, I'm rather humble, so I'm not one of those girls that tries to flaunt themselves around or try to be the center of attention. So...you won't find me talking up my physical attributes here, those are conclusions and opinions you can draw for yourself. I certainly don’t mind dressing up for an occasion when one arises, but if you’re looking for a "fashion plate" type of girlfriend who wears lots of makeup, who’s hair and fingernails are perfectly done all the time, and is always in high heels...then I am NOT your girl! I like to be "me" without having to do so many things to myself that you might never know what I truly look like behind all of it! However, I do take pride in my appearance, but it's just that I'm the type that has no problem putting my hair up in a pony tail and ball cap and heading out the door if you want to go somewhere on a spur of the moment.

I guess I am a rather rare type of girl who likes to work on my own house, work on my own motorcycle, and am not afraid of getting a little dirty. I like to go out and do things, but I also enjoy nights at home, with someone special, cooking (yup, I do cook) a nice meal and sitting down to watch a good movie in front of a roaring fire. I enjoy going to home shows, boat shows, motorcycle shows, and the occasional museum or theater. I love movies, especially ones of the action, comedy, or fantasy genre. I love gadgets, cars, motorcycles, and home improvements. In fact, you're more likely to find me in Home Depot than in a mall. I am not a ’high-maintenance’ type of woman. (i.e. it doesn't take me 2 hours to get ready to go grocery shopping) I do like the nicer things in life, but I believe in quality over quantity.

As for you, I’m looking for someone who is honest and sincere- - on these I will not compromise. And, you need to know yourself well enough to know if you even have the capacity to be these things. I’ve learned while some have good intentions, and tell you they are honest and sincere, actions always speak louder than words, and unfortunately it takes months or years to see that some poor souls don’t even know themselves well enough for them to give you an accurate description. You need to enjoy going out occasionally, but you don’t have to be a social butterfly every weekend, and will enjoy time alone with me as well. You are neat and tidy, but not compulsively so. You like to eat out and discover new restaurants, but you are equally happy to help me create a nice dinner at home. You are secure in yourself and are not intimidated nor feel bad about my typically ’male’ interests and knowledge of gadgets, home improvements, etc. You are educated, well-spoken, mannerly, and sensitive. But, you're also rugged, enjoy the outdoors, knowledgeable about home maintenance, and well..you know...guy-stuff! Oh, and you enjoy motorcycling, but your life doesn't revolve around it.

I love going to movies or watching them at home, dining out, cooking/baking at home, and going out to listen to live music. I like boating (don't have one now, but used to), riding my Harley, travelling to new places, and discovering new places of interest to visit close to home.

Someone who is similar to me in what I value--things like honesty, sincerity, being responsible with your finances, your time, and with the feelings of others. Someone who knows it is important to give the gift of their time to their significant other, quality time to enjoy each other and grow in the relationship. You don't have to be a homebody, but you have to have balance. Someone who has similar tastes in music, movies, politics, and home furnishings. I'm also on BON as hhdeuce.
