I Would Describe Myself As
Well.. Learned a lot from this past relationship, unfortunately, I didn't realize what I had until it was too late. Lessons learned:
1) Prioritization is a must. If someone means something to you, make sure that they are prioritized accordingly. If something else is looming. let your person know, don't hide it, they will understand, and if you are as important to them, they will help you. (and will let you know)
2)Pay attention. Things will change and you need to rise to the occasion or fall off to the side
3)Treat your lady like the queen she is. You may only get one shot at this...
4)Guidelines at the beginning of the relationship will evolve, again, pay attention.
5) Most important: Communicate. If you feel something, talk about it. Don't wait to discuss your feelings
Note: Being out of the game for 17 years wow things have changed... first and foremost folks would rather text than talk.... Still getting used to that. Also experienced my first break up via text.... yeah... that is empty and ridiculous. Makes a breakup via phone seem merciful.
I used to send witty and eloquent messages, but found that if you write anything more than "Hi!" you don't get a response. If you ask more than one question in a reply, then you get blocked. I'll tell you what, Take a chance and respond(or hell, even reach out) and I promise that you'll have, at the very least, an amazing conversation and then lets see where it goes.
A little about me:
- I’m black and Korean
-I work in software - recovering homebody. I am doing more and more out in the world. I try to do something new at least once a week, and I am amazed every day at the new things out there to experience. Recently I've been doing different things to get out of my comfort zone (or expand it). Been to a few concerts at chateau st Michelle, Seen a friend DJ at a few clubs, Went to a cider fest, Lots of stuff out there to do, and it's time to get out there and do it.
-I know alot of folks, but true friends... I have a select few, and if I consider you a friend, we are "ride or die". At 2AM, across the world, it doesn't matter.. if you need me, I'll be there.
-Hobbies, well I'm sorta a mixed bag. I ride Motorcycles as much as I can, on asphalt and on dirt. Avid wake surfer and wakeboarder. I also used to do alot off-road with my jeep, mainly rock crawling. Currently I'm training to get back into shape for Motocross.
-I LOVE to sing. It may take a few to warm enough to do it in front of you, but when I do, I'll serenade you every night (outside and all 🙂 )
-Intelligence is the most appealing thing on the planet (cause apparently you can’t say s e x i e s t)
-I'm still pretty spontaneous..some folks don’t like that (what??????), but working on planning a bit more. Let me know what you think
