To go somewhere that allows for the free flow of conversation. Hiking, walking, a downtown festival, coffee and dessert are always good for getting acquainted. A movie doesn't really let you talk and get to know more about the other person. It is fun, but not the best place for a first date.

Hvad leder du efter?

I first look at eyes. If someone makes good eye contact that shows that they are open to new friends. Of course if the man is handsome he will get a second glance, but it is more important that he can hold an intelligent conversation about a wide variety of topics. I like a man who can share his views of the world but also actively listens to mine. I appreciate a man who has a sense of the absurd. One who is literate and does not need to use obscenities as his only way to emphasize a point. An active man who enjoys a variety of activities and is not limited to "what is on the tube tonight?" I know that it is a pretty broad spectrum of things to look for, but the real determining factor is how our personalities mesh. A photo is only a starting point. Compatibility is the final test. A person can be ideal on paper and still not have the chemistry that makes a relationship possible. We are all picky when it comes to who we can stand to be around for more than a day!!
