I smile....a lot. I laugh....a lot. Why? Because life is too short not to!!!
I am a happy person...even when I am having a really bad day, I am able to find something positive in it...no matter how small. I believe that smiles are contagious, and I make it a point to smile at as many people as possible....because you never know what kind of day that person is having - your smile could have just made their day. Even when I am on the phone I try to have a smile on my face....I truly believe you can hear a smile. I don't lie, don't cheat and expect the same in return. My best friend's exact description of me (from a note not too long ago) "you're a sweet, give your shirt off your own back kind of person. There are not many of you out there like that anymore!!!!" I didn't pay her....THIS time :)~
Most of my relationships have been me settling because I didn't want to be alone. I decided last year to focus on only myself and my son...and it made all the difference in the world. I would rather be happy and alone than be in a relationship that is going nowhere. I have learned a lot about myself in the last year, and I know I am worth more than just mediocre. I want the next relationship I am in to be my last...I saw an elderly couple looking at plants when I was walking not long ago. Probably in their seventies, still looking at each other like they fell in love yesterday....THAT is what I am looking for. I love cuddling, holding hands and all that mushy lovey dovey stuff :)
I am a dork...I am willing to admit it. I am sarcastic, silly and will do just about anything to try to embarrass my 13 year old son, and he is very good at returning the favor. Humor is an essential part of who I am....but I do know when it's time to be serious and mature. I am able to balance all of them and I never use humor to hurt.
My ideal match....I am not looking for the perfect guy....just looking for the guy that is perfect for me...Someone that likes to smile and laugh. Someone that loves sports....being a Buckeye fan is a plus lol. I like getting dressed up and going out for a nice dinner, but would rather do something where I am outside...and I don't have any problem getting my hands dirty. Love hiking, fishing, going to stock car races, drag races. When we aren't at baseball, we try to spend as much of our summer at the dirt track as we can. I have a love affair with motorcycles and muscle cars - the louder and faster, the better. I am pretty easy going....as long as it isn't compromising me, my son or my beliefs, I will probably give it a try.
The three things I am most grateful for....,my relationship with God, my son and my sobriety (my son and sobriety being my greatest accomplishments as well). I have been sober for almost 7 years now. and I am not looking to start counting from day one again. I don't ask the people I date to not drink....but if you have to drink every day, or get drunk every time you go out....probably not the one for me. Being a recovering alcoholic is not something I am ashamed of at all. I am proud of myself...it isn't an easy task to accomplish, or admit so publicly. My son....he is my heart, the reason I breath. We have entered teenage angst years, but I only want to send him to military school every other day lol ... kidding...sort of ;) He plays baseball, football and basketball, so I spend a lot of time being his number one fan. I have been blessed with a son who has a heart of gold, even through all the hormonal imbalances lol. As for God....he comes first in my life....no if's, and's or but's about it. I am very grounded in my faith and plan on staying that way. It is a huge part of what makes me the honest, caring, trustworthy, and forgiving person that I am. I am not afraid to be me, I like me..and, except for a few tweaks here and there, I really don't want to change me

Det jag tycker är kul är
Being outside - love being on the back of a bike, but haven't had that luxury in a long time. I love watching my son play sports, so obviously going to his games. Love dirt track racing, going out to dinner, or even a quiet night at home watching a movie. Cooking a meal together is something I find really romantic. Oh and CAN'T forget fishing, hiking and camping.....if it's nice, I will do whatever I can to be outside!
