Me describiría a mi mismo como
We all know why we're here - haven't connected with someone special through our normal routines and activities, and/or our friends suck at fixing us up.
I'm quick to smile, slow to get angry, and feel life is too short to waste either being angry or sitting on the sidelines - if you want something, go after it.
I'm not perfect, and I don't pretend to be. However, my pictures are from within a year or two, and you will not find anything fictional in here.
I can be sarcastic, protective, nice to strangers and old-folks and intimidating to jerks and a-holes. I can be politically incorrect and curse like the retired sailor I am one minute, and carry a conversation with my company's VP the next. I can out-ride most people on two wheels, then clean up and take you out for a very nice evening on the town. I can still play sports with guys 10 years younger, and can even understand what the brainy kids are talking about. I was the guy in high school who didn't belong to any particular "click", but spent time with all of them - grew up out with the rednecks, could get straight A's (but didn't always apply myself), hung out with the stoners once in a while, played on the football and basketball teams and in the band.
I'm very stable in my job, and occasionally I have to do some long hours. I don't live for the job, and I don't bring it home, but it does finance the fun things.
I like working on my house, but it and the yard sometimes suffer if I have to choose between a day of yard and/or house work or a day on the bike (I usually find a good balance, but sometimes I'm just not THAT grown up). Don't let me come off as one-dimensional, there is a lot more to do than ride, but I do try to get as much wind-therapy as possible (this IS Wisconsin, bike season is short).
Physically, I've been told I clean up really well. 6' 2' and 245 lbs. I chuckle at the wide variety of what people consider "average" on this site. Not sure I can really pull off "average", and I feel I could drop a couple, but I'll let you take a look and decide for yourself. I'm in the gym most days right after work, and I will not age gracefully - I'll be fighting it every step of the way. I work out and eat healthy, but I'm not fanatical about it. I do lift a lot of weight, but I'm not the guy from the planet fitness commercials (I lift things up and put them down).
