I consider myself a very down to earth, laid back individual who also stands out in the crowd for just being myself. Having grown up in the heartland of Kansas, I find pleasure in the simple things in life that often go unnoticed and are only truly appreciated by a rare few. I have been told that I don’t have a mean bone in my body and have a heart bigger than I am (of course that may not be saying much...since I’m not very big…giggle). I am very open-minded…why live a boring, predictable life when there is so much yet to try and appreciate. Please don’t forget to laugh at least once each day…it really does make a difference.
I believe that ABSOLUTE honesty without judgment and open communication are the foundations to any good relationship from friendship all the way to being a couple. Listen…what any one person has to say really does matter. I find it is completely unnecessary to waste energy being hurtful, calling names or in any way minimizing another individual. As intelligent adults we are all perfectly capable of talking through our differences.

I enjoy many interests and activities. These include but are not limited to: snow skiing, boating and camping, hiking, motorcycles, baseball, travel and exploring historically significant venues. I enjoy reading and writing. Although I’m not afraid to try new things, I also find comfort in consistency and stability in my life. For me, being comfortable in moments of silence where no words are needed or could ever express the depth of an emotion, is one of the most intimate moments ever shared between two people. Sometimes just a hug goes a really long way…
