Ich würde mich selbst beschreiben als

I am a 63 yr. old widow. My late husband was the love of my life. He passed almost 4 years ago. I have gotten to the point now, where being mostly alone just plain stinks. So, to start off with, I'm looking for a friend. Some one to laugh with, some one to have fun with, after that who knows. A bit about me .... I grew up in NYC. Went to college at Fordham University and got a degree in Theatrical Costume Design. I spent the next 25 to 30 years designing costumes for theaters mainly East of the Mississippi River. In about 1995, I moved with my 2 daughters to Omaha, NE and I've been here ever since. In about 2005, I gave up costuming and I am now an artist. I paint in oils and do mostly landscapes. I love to travel and this summer I spent 2 weeks in upstate NY with about 80 other artists, and a few weeks after that I got on my motorcycle and road it to Grand Teton National Park & Yellowstone. It was a great trip. And in September, I got to spend 2 weeks as the artist in residence for Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore. I adore my 2 grandsons and I'm expecting a granddaughter in November. Woohoo! What I'm looking for?? Let's see ... You should be at least 5'11. Your physique should be about average or better. You can have kids, but they shouldn't live at home. If you ride a motorcycle that's a plus, because I have one. You should have a great sense of humor, and on occasions be silly. Oh, and you should at least have a passing understanding of baseball. It's my favorite sport. Other than that, I'm open.
