I am an honest, fun, intelligent, passionate, low-maintenance, independent, happy, witty (somewhat sarcastic) female with very little drama in my life. I own my own business, own a beautiful home with a big yard and pool that I maintain by myself. My summers are very busy but I always find time to enjoy myself. I have an amazing family and network of friends. I am fun to be around and love to laugh. Just turned 48, but I have been told I do not look my age at all. I would say that is due to my commitment to healthy living and exercise. I am a kind and giving person (sometimes to a fault) who loves to make the people around me happy. I know who I am and know what I want in life and will not settle for less!
I love the beach, traveling, swimming, running, sporting events (especially football and hockey), nights outs with friends, quiet nights at home, entertaining, music events, movies, fairs, snowmobiling, cooking together (have always wanted to take a couples cooking class), my pool, my dogs, my nieces and nephews...just to name a few. I love all types of music and admire musical talent in others.
I am the type of girl that can go from jeans and Harley boots for a ride up the coast to a gown and high heels for an important business meeting; I am comfortable and happy in either. I am someone that your friends will love at tailgate parties and your Mom will love instantly! My life is filled with no nonsense, honest people. The only kind I like!
I am looking for someone who is secure and stable and knows that laughter is the best medicine in life. I am looking for a long-term relationship that develops over time and is built on HONESTY, trust and fun times. I have a lot of friends and many of them are men. I need a man who understands that I CAN and always have had male friends in my life. No room for jealously or insecurity. I don't need to be stuck to you like glue. I have my own life with lots to do and lots of people whom I would love to share with you, but who I also need to see sometimes alone so we can talk about how fantastic you are! The person I am with must be an animal person as I am a HUGE animal fan and have 2 dogs and a cat.
I am formerly the Financial Controller of a publically traded construction company - a very stressful career that I am glad to be away from. I now work in a much more relaxed environment and truly love my job! I also have a side business selling women's and men's accessories and set up at many biker events.
A meeting deserves honesty; either it works (chemistry) or it doesn't. It's pretty simple. It doesn't say either person is a bad person; chemistry is different for everyone. The pictures of me are recent and I hope that yours are too. Everyone that meets me says that I am much better looking in person and I don't always have my mouth open as I often do in pictures! I have often been told that my smile lights up a room when I walk in it. That may sound like bragging, but I'm very proud of that compliment!
