Of Northern stock with sturdy legs and a hard head, strong, independent will and low BS tolerance. However; very compassionate, caring and fun....also very adventurous. Love animals (and they love me) and nature.
Family and friends are paramount to me, as is giving back to society and hoping to leave this planet a better place.
I volunteer for the Calgary Bluesfest every year, do not do drugs and don't wish to meet someone who does. I enjoy wine and sometimes kill off the whole bottle with a girlfriend or man friend, but never drink while away at work. My tobacco habit is nearing its end...all in time.
I work away from home in industrial construction project management and this has caused me difficulty in keeping a relationship. I am looking for a man who understands this and realizes that it's only for a few more years
I love riding and would like to learn to steer my own horse
I've called myself average in build because I no longer look like my 35 year-old daughter. I'm tall in build and willowy, but I have my badges of being mid-fifties and a mother. I have no excess weight (I am a size 8)and am not worried about it. I work out often, not because I'm obsessed, but because I aim to be strong in order to do the things that I love.
My vices are shoes and wine.
