I miss cruising.
9 months separated, soon to be divorced. New to the area, I'm not looking for a hook up, one night stand, or to rebound; but I am looking to meet new people with similar interests, with the hope that something more could happen in time. If the friendship first blooms into more, then that's a bonus. I’ve been on the back of the same bike for 15 years, so friendship and trust are a must before I’ll consider getting on the back of yours.
Lets be for real about something else too, I have been working really hard to get where I am physically. If you don't care about how you look or are not interested in living a good healthy life and are satisfied with a "mediocre midlife crisis you", then please keep looking. I am not perfect and I have flaws, but I am passionate about my goals and would want someone who is on a similar journey. I make the time for me. I am not vain nor do I think I am all that (confidence can easily be misunderstood), but I do know that I am not interested in negative vibes or someone that I am not attracted too...chemistry is a natural fact of life so don't kid yourself if you think it's not.
I've been out of the dating scene for awhile so I am really looking to make friends first, which is a must and is not negotiable. No false pretenses, be honest and respectful, and we might get along.
I'm looking for new adventures; maybe a fun, young at heart southern gentleman who values family and friends, has a great sense of humor and can make me laugh (you know the sidesplitting laugh that we both could enjoy). Since my new passion is the gym and fitness, someone who is physically fit, someone who cares about staying healthy and takes pride in his appearance is a priority. A must: someone who is not threatened by an educated, hard working, independent women. I'm down for a black tie event or cowboy boots and hat. I don't mind enjoying a cold one while watching T.V., but don't ask me to choose between Auburn or the Tide, I really just enjoy a good football game! I am an easy going person with a good heart and a fun personality I think, looking to get back into the world, start a new journey. I have decided there is a reason why the rear view mirror is smaller than the windshield.
Some things about me: I love all animals, especially horses, or rescuing Pitts for sure. I like riding motorcycles with destinations other than the bar, shooting guns at the range, photography, fishing and boating, the beach, going to car shows, getting together with friends just because, concerts and sometimes playing golf (although I'm not very good at it). I like to cook, watch a good sunset, want to travel to new island destinations, and drinking beer or wine. Oh yea, I have embraced clean eating and I am an intermediate weight lifter. The gym has been my distraction since January and I am proud of what I have accomplished, with bigger goals ahead. Maybe you could be my new gym partner?
