A little about Mikey
When it comes down to the “Nuts & Bolts”, I am a gearhead. Ever since I was a very young boy. Much to the utter dismay of my parents, I would disassemble my toys just to find out how they worked. It contributed to my education!
I’ve been a widower for going on three years now. I was married for 37 years. My wife battled cancer for three years, and it finally took her in June of 2013.
My boys are adults and are on their own. I have two grandchildren with the oldest of my boys.
These days, I work as a print production artist for a magazine publisher. Nothing glamorous. It’s production work and for the most part, I’m one of the fortunate few that is able to use their God-given talent and I love what I do. There are days however…..
For fun, I ride motorcycles. I have a Harley and a Triumph. I do NOT dress up like a pirate that is the stereotypical Harley rider.
I also have a drag race car that I race about six to eight times a year. I’m also learning how to cook. I am most emphatically NOT a vegan!
On social skills, I’m not what would be considered outgoing or boisterous by any measure. I’m fairly quiet and outside saying hello to someone I don’t know, I really only speak if I’m spoken to. If you are looking for the “Life of the Party,” I ain’t it!

Some people would say "jump out of an airplane" or "shoot the rapids" or maybe "Swim with sharks." Me? Yeah, not so much. I've a lot of great experiences in my life already. Kinda ready to take life a little more easy, do some riding to places I haven't been.
