I'm a retired auto mechanic and have a touring bike as well as a vintage cruiser. I bought my first bike in 1967 . I'm a bit of a health fanatic in the ways of exercise and diet.I also enjoy a drink socially.My other hobbies are stand up paddling and hiking as well as playing guitar and singing.I feel that a positive outlook will always pay off.
I have been divorced for 2 years now and do quite well on my own, but have that deeper hunger to find that special lady.
I'm planning to go south and across the southern states to North and South Carolina and up into the Maritime's , and then visit some family and friends for a few days in Ontario, before heading home.
I like to camp and just pick up food and drink along the way at deli's etc. It has to be rained out of I just can't find a shower available at the last couple of campsites, before I generally take a motel. If you would like to do some local day trips and
we hit it off, perhaps you might consider joining in on my excursion sometime in the July -August time frame. I'm easy going and trustworthy.I did some online dating last summer, but found that most ladies getting near my age aren't into my interests.If you don't currently have a bike and just want to do some day trips riding on the back that would be fine. If you want to do the excursion of course you would need your own bike that was in good enough shape to go the distance and also be able to carry your own sleeping bag and tent, although I do carry an extra smaller tent that I had planned on using this time for rainy conditions and emergency situations. My user name is meant to bring a smile to readers because It's better to enjoy a sense of humor than focus on the negative stuff :) I'm in good health and physical condition and hope to find someone who also likes to look after their health and take some pride in the way they look and act. I like to put on the miles , but would be considerate of my riding partners needs and hopefully you of mine.I'm always open to suggestions and ready to change the game plan at any time.
I have my own home in the Highlands and enjoy the outdoors and nature as much as possible.- Larry
