***To start I am NOT looking for long distance anything. Been there, done that! Maybe it was fun then but NOT NOW. So I’m not going to look for anyone more than an hour away. And that’s pushing it with how I work. ***
I work full time I handle my own responsibilities and I expect you to do the same. I have been in those relationships in my past where they didn’t work or only barely worked and could never support themselves!!
I ride my own motorcycle. Whoever I date must ride as well. I do enjoy riding my own but man I often miss just being the “backpack”. Those days of riding close. Feeling secure. The feeling when your man puts his hand on your leg just so you feel safe (that was my husband, jimmy, who passed away) I’m not sure I’ve ridden behind anyone since then more than a causal trip.
There’s nothing quite like wind therapy.
I’d love to maybe try out kayaking more than the two times I’ve went with friends from work. I think I’d enjoy it. I want to take a road-trip sometime and go through those caves down in KY in them.
I need someone who will put in the work to make it work. Relationships are not easy. They all take work. It’s give and take and compromises. We are getting older and I want to enjoy my life from here on out! I’m not too old to want to have adventures with my other half! I don’t NEED a man in my life but I’d love to have that companionship to share love and life’s journeys with. To me there’s just something different in sharing experiences with friends and family vs your special someone. Don’t get me wrong I love them both!!
I wear my heart on my sleeve to get bruised and broken fairly easy. 😢. When I love I love whole heartedly. Unfortunately I cannot seem to find that sort of matching energy.
I have dogs and cats. One of my dogs often rides the bike with me. She thinks it’s actually hers I believe. Life has been very stressful with them though since being widowed. So I am considering rehoming all but the one who rides with me. The way I work just isn’t the best for them.
