Short trips to wine and dine and listen to music at a dive or small venue. Water is fun too. Especially in this heat. Bonfires in the fall and winter. Is going out of town to see a band I like and making a trip out of it. Spending the day doing local cafes, and thrift shops, or the lake and river, then head to the show that night after dinner, and have a nearby hotel so if drinking becomes enjoyable we get home safely by walking or a cab. (Drinking is not always a must)
