Started a new life here, got rid of the anchor that was holding me back and down, looking for new friends and adventures. Looking for REAL! Music and the open byways speak to my soul and heart. My life is not on pause while I figure it out. I'm a let's move forward and see what the next curve reveals to us. If you aren't holding on for dear life...get off. I have been a giving, caring, supportive, i got your back, defend you to hell and back kinda guy for so many years. Been there, done that, didn't get the tshirt nor the kiss. Believe in a PARTNERSHIP type of relationship; not a what have you done for me today situation. A bit of old school with opening doors and showing my partner the respect she deserves as long as she shows the same. i have learned in the last two years to trust GOD and to accept whatever comes at me each and every day and night. I am so much happier now than I have been in years and would love to find someone that has learned that same lesson. I'm not a spring chicken; but, will surprise you with my crow! All honesty!!! I prefer younger women who are fit or at least can keep up with me...especially when dancing. I have had a very public personality for many years and know tons of people; but, I am now looking for that someone that can appreciate the quieter times and still have fun. Educated in many ways, including degrees, travel experienced, have high expectations, love the water, mountains, high desert, out of the way places and Sunday morning drives along those roads less traveled. I expect to be a full time live aboard house boater by early spring. Are you available? I am a residential contractor but have taught dance for years. Talk about opposing images...lol. You must be spontaneous, non judgemental, no couch potatoes, take care of yourself, love sarcastic, humorous, catty, flirtatious, sexy, intelligent, blue but not vulgar, informed conversation and can hold your own if I'm off getting you a drink or hors d'oeuvre. High expectations??? Damn straight! I have earned that stature and so should have you. I am a man that appreciates and is proud of his partner; and you should be also. Put simply...i want to know that my new partner has my back just as much as I have hers. You want to use someone to climb that social ladder; it's not going to be me.
