I was just in SanDiego to witness my youngest son graduate into a marine - hats off to the marines for a nice show. Also got a good jump start on my tan in the sunny southern California sun (say that 3 times). So, as I am flying back to Kansas City, I realize that San Diego is the last thing on my list of things to do. It was like, being handed an impossible giant list 27 years earlier and finishing it at that moment! Now what?! "ITS ME TIME!!" That's what! I worked very hard for this moment. Is it legal to have this much freedom. My boys are grown and gone, I have no debt because I own my place, I own my truck, but I don't own my own bike...That's ok since I don't know how to drive them. I do own my own leathers, and I do love to ride; it soothes my soul. There aint much that can beat the pacific northwest for scenery, but I will happily look at anything you want to show me. Unfortunately, my San Diego trip cost much, much more than I had anticipated, much more then I had, actually. So, I cannot buy the membership that lets me read and respond to my emails. This is so frustrating cuz I really, really want to read them all. So Sorry! Well, at least I had a great time in San Diego.

He picks me up on the Harley early evening, the weather is perfect. We stop for dinner and stay longer then intended because the conversation is good and we are truly enjoying each others company. Then we meet up with friends (his or mine), listen to music, shoot some pool. And since the weather is perfect, we take the long way back to my place....
