Personally, one of the most confusing things about learning were the "steps" required. What order do you "do things" in? What comes first? Do you get a motorcycle first? Do you get a license? Where do you buy a helmet? How can you take a training class? Where do they teach training classes? I didn't know the answer to any of those questions and it took a LOT of research to find out. So, now that I know, I'll share the ideal progression of steps in one simple resource. Not only does this page provide simple step-by-step guidelines to getting started, but it explains the reasons why things should be done in this order.
