I am a funny, outgoing, and down to earth person. I'm a native Texan, and have lived in the Houston area all of my life. I'm a Family Nurse Practitioner. I work in the Medical Center and love my job. I'm pretty liberal and open minded. I'm not into the latest fashion or technology, or whatever trend is taking place. I can dress up and look nice, but deep down I'm a tomboy all the way. The first thing I do when I get home from work is wash off my make-up, take off my bra, and change into comfy clothes. I am NOT religious. I describe myself as an ex-Catholic, or a recovering Catholic. I'm not into religion at all and really get annoyed by tele-evangelists and mega churches. I'm laid back, have lots of interests. I love to cook, and to cook for others. I enjoy the outdoors -- backpacking, hiking, skiing. Reading, photography. I recently started writing fan fiction, and do a lot of on-line research for it. Also really enjoy hanging out in my own backyard, working in my garden. I live on a small lake and love watching the sunset while drinking an adult beverage. OK, I'll admit it: I'm a crazy cat lady. I wish I could have a dog or two, but my schedule won't allow it. So, I have my cats. You'll love them -- they'll probably hide whenever you come over... I'm short and plump --and I'm working on that. I used to be very fit, I have trained for/ridden in 10/8 MS 150s, done lots of cool backpacking and climbing trips -- Mount St Helen's, Longs Peak, The Yukon Gold Rush Trail, the Grand Canyon....but several years ago I had a couple of freak skiing accidents and, long story short, I've let myself go a little. But, I'm working on that. I love to take road trips, just pack a picnic and go. Play music, talk. Go see new places and things. I am looking for a sweet romantic guy, with a good heart, who likes to take care of his woman and who also likes to be taken care of. I can be a great partner and make a great home for you. No games or bullshit, please.

I'm looking for a man who is warm, funny, caring, sensitive, intelligent, a great lover, supportive, someone who loves to take care of his gal (not financially, but being there as a friend and partner) someone to become friends with, hangout/riding buddies.

I don't know why, but pet names like "Baby" and "Baby Girl", etc, and loving gestures, just make me melt.

I'm looking for a man who isn't afraid to cuddle, hold hands -- but not in a clingy way, or every time we're out in public.
