How can one best describe him or herself without appearing to be vain or narcissistic? In reality, I am neither.
I am best characterized as being a very romantic, extremely affectionate, loyal, patient, communicative, and gregarious person.
I believe in living each day to the fullest, and derive tremendous personal satisfaction from simply making my lady and others smile, laugh, or finding some means of brightening their day. If that involves acting a little silly, then so be it. After all ,it's the little things that we do for each other,the spontaneous, heartfelt, and unsolicited gestures, that mean the most.
At this time Ladies, I need to make some VERY important points: 1. I am NOW, and have ALWAYS been, a "ONE WOMAN MAN"! As a young person, I was taught very strict old fashioned ethics, values, and morals. 2. I don't run with "The Pack", or play "head" games". I strongly believe that every Woman should be treated with DIGNITY and RESPECT at all times! I strive to put my lady, her feelings, safety, well being, and happiness FIRST! 3. I'm not an abuser (physically or mentally), drunk, druggie, controller, manipulator, or gold digger.
I also consider myself to be extremely supportive, friendly, fun loving, bold, adventuresome, and easy going.
Unlike many men, I can freely admit to being a "wee" bit stubborn at times (an Irish & Cajun mix, without the temper). I can also admit, to making the occasional, unintentional mistake. When I do, I will always look you right in the eyes, and be man enough to admit it.
I have but a few dislikes: I strongly dislike needless dramas, unnecessary bickering, cheap and petty games and gamers, liars, and general unpleasantness. Life is much too precious and short. If we find ourselves in disagreement or conflict over something, let's sit down, maturely discuss and resolve the issue together as a team. In the end, it's really not about who is right, or wrong. It's about being able to compromise, and reach a mutual agreement with each other. I always respect my partner's opinions, and am not afraid to consult with her when making daily decisions.
Each and every day is truly a precious gift from above. So, why should we waste it in disagreement? Our tomorrows are never assured.....
Additionally, I take great pride in my reputation for honesty, loyalty, and integrity. In return, I ask for those same things from any of my friends.
I grew up in the Cypress,Texas, when it was VERY rural and agriculturally based. As a result, I have a strong background in horticulture, and a real love of animals. More specifically, horses and dogs. I have trained both for most of my life, but have neither at the present time.
I am quite honestly, brand new to this whole "internet dating" thing. All of my close friends are happily married. So, I really don't know any single Women. I'm still unsure whether this scene is really my "cup of tea", or not. I suppose time will really tell...
Since the death of my wife 4 years ago,I have gotten back into motorcycles and riding.I am looking forward to many new adventures, new friends, possible romance, and some long road trips in the near future.
